At Lymphoma Canada, our mission is to help connect patients and caregivers with different support systems within their community. This can include specific lymphoma support groups, larger community support gatherings, or general assistance programs. By connecting with others that have gone through similar experiences, you can receive valuable information about your lymphoma, as well as support and comfort. Lymphoma support groups provide patients with an opportunity to meet other lymphoma patients and caregivers and to talk about the impact of diagnosis, including emotions and fears associated with cancer, its disruption to one’s life and family, concerns for the future, and strategies that patients might use to cope.
Lymphoma Canada participates in two support groups in Ontario, the SouthWestern Ontario Chapter (SWO) and the Westerkirk Wellspring Lymphoma Support Group. However, there are also many other wonderful support groups that you can join in your area. Please see the list of support groups in the navigation panel below.
