We were thrilled to have Bryce Wylde as our event Master of Ceremonies. Bryce is one of Canada’s leading alternative health experts specializing in homeopathy, clinical nutrition, supplementation, and botanical medicine. He is a regular guest health expert on numerous national and international television programs including “The Doctor Oz” show where he also sits on the Medical Advisory Board. Bryce set the stage for the day and added fantastic energy, knowledge, and fun to the day’s events.
Also joining us this year was keynote speaker, Louisa Jewell, Founder and President of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association, facilitator, author, and positive psychology expert. Louisa attention grabbing and humorous presentation on the science of happiness and how it can contribute to one’s well-being and ability to flourish in life was very well received.
After the morning session, participants enjoyed an afternoon of 108 minute yoga with yoga instructors – Jesse Enright, Jason Lu, and Grace Dubery – and meditation workshop with Josh Cohen. The inspirational day was full of powerful moments from Lana Sugarman and Normando Jones providing instrumentals for the yoga session to “Canada’s newest soulful diva” and lymphoma caregiver, Roveena performing her latest single release on World Lymphoma Awareness Day.
We would like to make take it to the mat 2016 even bigger to support the increasing number of Canadians being diagnosed with lymphoma each year.
Your donation enables Lymphoma Canada’s to realize its mission: to connect and empower those affected by lymphoma and their caregivers through education, support, and research. We promote early detection, finding new and better treatments, helping patients to access those treatments as well as fund Canadian research to ultimately, find a cure.
