Description:
The diagnosis and treatment of lymphomas and CLL have evolved tremendously over the past 15 years, particularly with the introduction of more effective and less toxic targeted therapies and immunotherapies. Within the last couple of years especially, the CLL treatment landscape in Canada has exploded. With so many developments in the CLL treatment spectrum over a short time, it is essential to provide patients with current information about their treatment options. This educational event will provide the Canadian CLL community with up-to-date information on:
- Overview of CLL diagnosis
- Why treatment may not always be recommended immediately after diagnosis
- Current front-line treatment options
- Current treatment options for relapsed/refractory CLL
- Emerging therapies for front-line and R/R CLL
