World Lymphoma Awareness Day in Canada
Lymphoma is the fifth most common cancer in Canada and one of the fastest rising incidence rates among 18-39 year olds. Close to 9,000 Canadians are diagnosed with lymphoma and around 3,000 succumbed to the disease annually. Lymphoma affects men, women and children and incidence is on the rise in young adults and children. For World Lymphoma Awareness Day this year, Lymphoma Canada is working on spreading the word about the importance of knowing your nodes around different cities across Canada. Help us raise awareness of lymphoma in your community and at the following upcoming events in support of World Lymphoma Awareness Day.
