Occasionally, some children may experience temporary or long-term learning challenges as a result of lymphoma or certain types of lymphoma treatments. These challenges can include concentration, reading comprehension, and/or memory issues.

If you find your child is struggling with these issues, be sure to ask for assistance. Enlist the help of their teachers and guidance counselors to help them adjust. See if the teachers are willing to let your child have more time during tests, use a computer to take notes, or audio record what is discussed during a lesson.
