8th Annual National Patient Conference on Lymphoma & CLL

– Virtual Event

Wednesday, October 16 to Friday, October 18 (4 pm – 6:00 pm) ET

Lymphoma Canada hosted our 8th Annual National Patient Conference this year! This patient-focused educational event will be held virtually and included live presentations by expert faculty and specialists across Canada. Topics ranges from disease and treatment-specific information, the importance of knowing your lymphoma subtype, how novel lymphoma therapies are approved in Canada, and a COVID-19 update for patients & their caregivers. This can all still be learned from the comfort of your home through this webpage.

Overview

Lymphoma Canada’s National Patient and Caregiver Conference held virtually over three days in October of 2023 was the most well-attended conference the organization has delivered to date. With over 600 registrants, we were able to host a variety of presentations and discussions led by Canadian lymphoma & CLL experts. Providing this event in a virtual format not only has allowed us to disseminate information and help a larger audience, but also has allowed patients and their loved ones to watch from the comfort and safety of their own home. This allows all Canadians, no matter where they live, to receive access to novel and up-to-date information on diagnostic testing, treatment options, research, standard of care practices, and wellness regarding their lymphoma subtype. The virtual format is especially helpful for patients that are immunocompromised, having accessible information without having to leave their homes.

The national conference was free of charge for patients and their caregivers to watch this year and was hosted virtually between October 17-19. We have numerous presentations on disease and treatment options as well as health and wellness during all stages of lymphoma. A complete agenda for the conference and the recordings can be found below.
