Historically, the treatment options for Hodgkin lymphoma patients have been surgery, chemotherapy, radiation or a combination of chemotherapy and radiation. With the advancement of modern technology and science, novel treatments have become available which are better specifically targeting cancer cells and have increased the success rates of treatment. In this webinar, Dr. Kodad will give an overview of Hodgkin Lymphoma and the available treatment options for patients recently diagnosed and for those that have relapsed or had a partial response to treatment.

Dr. Shruthi Kodad
Dr Shruthi Kodad completed her Internal Medicine residency and Fellowship in Hematology at Narayana Health, Bangalore, India before joining the Leukemia/BMT Program of British Columbia as a Clinical Fellow in 2016. After two years of Fellowship, she worked as a Clinical Associate in Saskatoon Cancer Centre and currently working as a staff haematologist in Saskatoon Cancer Centre. She has clinical and research interests in lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants and long-term complications of stem cell transplantation.
