Oral Complications from Lymphoma Treatments
Treatments for cancer, and in particular for lymphoma, can have a wide range of side effects that can impact a patient’s quality of life. Patients with cancer may experience mouth or oral problems before, during, or after cancer treatment. The most common mouth problems for patients with cancer can include mouth sores, change in taste, dry mouth or lips, tooth and gum problems, and difficulty swallowing. Many mouth problems caused by cancer treatment often will get better over time with proper care and treatment.
